Volcanoes, Baja Norte Volcanoes is a lava rock reef break, which is on the way to Cab San Quintin. Volcanoes is worth checking out on the way there. Volcanoes is good and can get really heavy, definitely experts only. Volcanoes stretches from the village of "Los Volcanes" to just north of the village of "El Playon," which is also an excellent break.
Surfers
advice:
This
whole area has great surf that is always going- off. Make sure that you wear
booties, due to the sharp lava rocks at Volcanoes.
Getting there:
Volcanoes is best on West, but because the
beach faces west it will pick up just about any swell.
